WEEK OF: MARCH 22 – 26, 2021
THEME: BIRDS OF A FEATHER
The classroom activities this week will focus on a variety of backyard birds seen in our area. We have colorful birdhouses, feathers, and a bird’s nest to explore at the science center. We will create birds from geometric shapes and count and glue 10 items for a T is for ten letter of the week activity.

THEME: BLOWING IN THE WIND
Spring is in the air! And in the classroom this week as we explore a variety of weather conditions seen in springtime.
The letter of the week activity is U is for umbrella.
REMINDERS, REQUESTS, AND OTHER INFO:
*The Yellow Apples have been doing a great job of learning their addresses. The large envelope with their address printed on it is coming home this week for continued practice. Keep up the good work!
*The Red Apples have enjoyed listening to interactive stories using the flannel board. The favorites so far are The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
*Progress reports will be issued the last week of April.
*There are 2 WOW days scheduled for April. The Monday/Tuesday group may attend on Wednesday April 14th and the Thursday/Friday group may attend on Wednesday April 28th. Signup sheets will be available at arrival time.
