Perry Park Preschool began over 30 years ago, when a group of mothers from the Groveland Congregational Church came together with a simple idea: to watch over one another’s children so that every parent could tend to work, errands, and everyday life with peace of mind. That spirit of community and mutual care is still at the heart of everything we do today — and it’s what makes us proud to be Groveland’s oldest preschool.
Learning Through Play
From the very beginning, our program has been built around theme-based, play-based curriculum. We believe young children learn best when they’re curious, engaged, and having fun — so every day at Perry Park is filled with hands-on exploration, imaginative play, and age-appropriate activities designed around a new theme.
What Makes Us Different
- Small class sizes, real attention — with a 1:6 teacher-to-child ratio, every child is seen, supported, and known.
- Outdoor time, every single day — rain or shine, fresh air and outdoor play are a non-negotiable part of our routine.
- Flexible after-school care — our optional after-school program, available until 2:00 PM, gives families extra flexibility to fit real life.
