THEME: ICE EXPLORATION and ARCTIC FREEZE
Welcome back and best wishes for a happy and healthy 2019!
We have many fun learning experiences planned for our exploration of winter.
Circle time activities will include reading books about winter, snow, and arctic animals. We’ll go ice fishing with magnetic letters, make bird feeders and play winter charades. There will be a flurry of winter art experiences as we create cotton ball snow scenes, puffy paint snowmen and snow paintings. The sensory table will have snow and ice cubes to observe melting and music time will find us moving like snowflakes, dancing the “freeze dance” and singing winter songs. The words to two are on the reverse.
The letter activity is M is for mitten.
