THEME: SAFETY WEEK
The theme this week will offer opportunities to learn safety rules and to explore the community helpers who help to keep us safe. We plan to tour Ms Sherry’s school bus one morning and learn about transportation safety. Officer Josh of the Groveland PD will visit on Thursday and tell us about his job. We will also practice fire drills (we do not sound the alarm) to learn how to exit the building quickly and quietly. We will practice fire drills on a monthly basis.
Other safety activities planned include practicing stop -drop and -roll at circle time, water spray bottles in the sensory table and painting fire trucks.
The letter of the week activity is D is for Dalmatian.

A new song we will learn this week- (sung to the tune of I’m a Little Teapot)
I’m a little fire fighter on the go
Here is my helmet, here is my hose.
When I see a fire, hear me shout:
“Turn on the water and put the fire out!”
